music factory
Music Factory was a ritual mass orgy of post-fordism. 52 musicians played an unbroken statement over 83 hours, from December 8 to December 12, 2012. Music Factory was proposed in May 2012 by Alan Sondheim, a prolific multidisciplinary artist whose music first appeared on ESPdisk in 1968 at the head of an improvising collective out of Providence. It was brought to fruition by Alan together with Christopher Diasparra, Edward Schneider, Ty Cumbie, and Jackson Moore.
